The story? Fox suffers from Brachydactyly, a rare condition which is probably better known as a clubbed thumb.
Brachydactyly is a medical term which literally means “shortness of the fingers and toes” (digits). The shortness is relative to the length of other long bones and other parts of the body. Brachydactyly is an inherited, usually dominant trait. it most often occurs as an isolated dysmelia, but can also occur with other anomalies as part of many congenital syndromes.
In the latest edition of Super bowl commercial, Motorola endorsed its product with flamboyant Megan Fox but allegedly she or the brand used a body double for the close shot of her thumb. While our eyes were immediately drawn to the airbrushing done on her right arm so that her infamous Marilyn Monroe tat would not appear on national television, those sleuth Brits over at the Daily Mail were trained on Fox’s less-than-perfect thumbs the whole time.
