“Buzz Saw” Noise When My Car Accelerates – What Is It?
I was driving my car today and it makes this odd noise when I accelerate. It sounds like a “buzz saw” coming when I step on the accelerator. I know this is not normal. however, the engine revolutions are where they are supposed to be and the car does not jerk during acceleration or when idling. I thought it could be the tensioner on my drive belt – or my actual drive belt – but I am not sure.
Does anyone have any help?
